Yes it whitens, brightens and removes cavities, but for toothpaste there are more uses than you might initially think. We’ve gathered tubes and tubes to amaze and entertain you! And still, you can find a lot of them even useful.
Uses Of Toothpaste
Clean the Sink Bathroom
Don’t just rinse it away if you drop some toothpaste in the bathroom sink. Take a moist sponge, and use it to clean the entire pot. Rinse well, then dry. However it will leave the drain smelling fresh minty.
Defog a Mirror in the Bathroom
Using a little toothpaste on a moist cloth to wipe down mirrors. Work in small circles and permit drying of the toothpaste; then buff with a dry cloth.
Remove Leather Scuffs and Vinyl Shoes
A dab of toothpaste on a soft cloth or sponge removes scuffs from smooth leather, patent leather, or vinyl shoes. Act at once on a small area and then buff away with a soft cloth, the dirt and scuff. Note, suede leather shoes or boots aren’t going to work well.
Give Jewellery a New Shine
Toothpaste works superbly if your silver jewellery has been tarnished or if your diamonds look a little dull. Using just a little bit on an old toothbrush that works to get into any crevice. To see the item sparkle, rinse well and buff with a dry cloth. Never use toothpaste on delicate gems such as pearls or opals which may be damaged by the abrasive material.
Remove Food Odors
If you have any issues with the odors of onion or fish that stay on your hands after cooking food, just rub a bit of toothpaste on your hands. For a few seconds, rub your hands together from all sides and rinse well. The odor has gone. You can also see your fingernails appear whiter and clearer.
Remove Crayon Marks From Walls
A bit of toothpaste on a wet sponge removes leftover crayon marks from painted walls. Finish with a damp cloth wiping it off and allow the area to air dry.
Save a Mobile Phone Screen
Just a tiny amount of toothpaste on your fingertip can buff out minor scratches from a mirror on your cell phone. Finish off with a damp cloth by wiping away and let the phone air dry.
