This soup is a great antioxidant. Broccoli can reduce inflammation as a cruciferous vegetable, prevent heart disease and provide antioxidant properties. Some of the ingredients you ‘re going to need in this.
- Two and a half cups of florets of broccoli.
- Three celery stalks diced.
- 1 onion diced.
- Two carrots, finely sliced, peeled.
- 1 cup, depending on your choice, of either kale or spinach.
- Half a lemon juice.
In order to make this delicious soup, put two tablespoons of coconut oil in a bowl, which is then heat it. cToss into the broccoli, celery and onions, then cook for 5 minutes then stir frequently. (You can use other oils, but the coconut oil is best). Then add your choice broth and allow for a further five minutes to simmer the soup. Take the soup and blend it with spinach or kale, lemon juice and sea salt until it is thick. You can also throw a couple of collagen tablespoons if you want to!
RED LENTIL AND SWEET POTATO SOUP
Lentil are fantastic superfoods, and it is therefore appropriate that this detoxifying soup should be included in our list. Here’s how to make it.
- Half a cup of red lentils rinsed.
- Two big sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped.
- 2 big carrots peeled and chopped.
- 1 apple peeled and sliced.
- 1 small white onion, chopped.
- Around 1 inch of fresh ginger, minced and peeled.
- Half a teaspoon of cumin, paprika and chili powder each.
- 4 and a half cup, depending on your tastes, of vegetables or bone broth.
- Cream of coconut.
Start to warm a quarter cup of oil (preferably olive oil, cocoa oil or ghee) over medium heat. Put the potatoes, apple, carrots and onions and cook until the onions have cooled for ten minutes. Put your broth, ginger, lentils, paprika, cumin in mixture. Let the soup boil and then blend together for about 30 minutes. Lastly, Leave a few minutes on sim. Season to taste with black pepper and sea salt and add some coconut cream to the soup.
CARROT AND GINGER SOUP
This whole soup has all the benefits of the previous one – and more – not to be confused with our curry version of this soup. Carrots are also known to help combat arthritis inflammation, and the digestive system helps to facilitate fat loss in the belly. Here is the ingredients for this wonderful soup.
- Chopped carrots 2 pounds.
- 3 freshly grated ginger tablespoons.
- 2 onions peeled and chopped.
- Three chopped garlic cloves.
- Depending upon your tastes, six cups of bone or vegetable broth.
- 1 cup of milk of coconut.
Place the broth in a pan with the ginger, carrot and garlic. Bring the soup to a boil and allow to cool. At this point, Add onion two tablespoons of coconut oil or two tablespoons of ghee and mix it into a paste. Then you’ll want to blend onions up to thick. To taste, add coconut milk, sea salt, onion and black pepper. Optionally, a powder of collagen or plain protein powder can be set for additional boost.
